After a successful health card project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the government has decided to introduce ration cards for the poor and middle class.

To meet the needs of the poor in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government is launching a food program, Chief Minister Mehmood Khan says, adding that people will now be provided rations at their doorsteps instead of cash.
The Chief Minister said that food basket program is being started for the poor in his province and Rs. 10 billion has been allocated for the program.
