Riaz Khairabadi is called the Tent of India. He passed away on July 28, 1934.

 He is said to have lived a very simple and pure life, but his words are full of articles on alcohol and shabab, rundi and sarshari and that is why he is also known as a Khmer Rouge poet.

 His real name was Syed Riaz Ahmed. When he started writing poetry, he adopted the pseudonym Riaz and added to it the goodwill of his native land. In the literary memoirs, his birthplace is 1855 and Khairabad is written.

 Riaz Khairabadi reformed Asir Lucknow and after his death became a disciple of Amir Minai. His passion for poetry and literature and his passion for writing led him to publish several newspapers and magazines along with poetry, including Riyadh al-Akhbar, Salh-e-Kul, Gulkat Riyadh, Fitna and Payam-e-Yar. He also translated some English novels into Urdu.
