The Executive Board of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved an inquiry against PML-N leader and former Finance Minister Muftah Ismail.
A meeting of the Executive Board was held under the chairmanship of NAB Chairman Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal in which 4 inquiries were approved.
According to the statement, the board also approved two inquiries against former finance minister Muftah Ismail and National Highways Authority officials, officials and others.
The Board also approved an inquiry against the employees of Irrigation and Revenue Department Peshawar and others.
According to the NAB statement, the NAB Executive Board also approved the reference of corruption against Syed Tajmal Hussain. The accused received huge sums of money from the public through an illegal testing company.
The statement said that approval has been given to send the investigation of irregularities in the Malam Jabba tendering process to the Chief Secretary KP.
