To stop her from working in Swabi, the brothers chained her and locked her in a room.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Shoaib, police conducted an operation in Dara village of Swabi and recovered a woman who had been detained for a year and arrested three accused while one accused escaped.
According to the DPO, the siblings had imprisoned the sister for withholding her job and fighting a case against her husband. The woman was divorced and had approached the Family Court for child support.
Police say the woman was chained to her neck and legs and tied to a skylight.
