Kerala: People were shocked when a man who was declared dead 45 years ago returned alive in India.
According to details, his family and neighbors were shocked to hear that an Indian national, who was pronounced dead in a plane crash in 1976, was alive.
Sajid Thongal hails from Sistham Kota, a village in the Indian state of Kerala. He is now 70 years old. Forty-five years ago, an Indian Airlines flight from Mumbai to Madras crashed due to engine failure. All 95 people on board were killed, including Sajid Thongal, who went to the Persian Gulf in search of work.
According to the report, all the passengers were declared dead after the plane crash and Sajid's family considered him dead and performed all the rituals. However, Sajid miraculously survived the crash, but he returned to his home. He decided not to tell the people about himself and left for Abu Dhabi.
His parents, three brothers and four sisters were convinced that Sajid was no more in this world. On the other hand, he started promoting Indian films in Abu Dhabi to promote Indian culture. Once in 1982, he came to Mumbai. So that he could run his own business, but he could not succeed, which created fear in Sajid's heart that if he went home, his family would consider him a failure.
According to Sajid, he wanted to become a successful businessman and return home and prove to his family that he was alive, so he decided not to meet his family until he became a successful businessman.
In 2019, Sajid met K. M. Philip, who was working to reunite the lost loved ones. Sajid said that if these people had not found me, I would have probably died without meeting my family. Philip said that when he first met Sajid, he was depressed and had a hard time convincing him.
After convincing Sajid, KM Philip sent one of his workers to his house to find out the situation. Sajid's father had passed away in 2012, but his mother, wife and brother were alive. He was shocked to learn that she was alive and living in Dubai.
